Most important, provide sufficient forage (typically in the form of hay). As the horse digests forage, gut activity warms the body. This function, along with the natural insulating abilities of the winter coat, allows your horse to live comfortably in an environment that is not excessively cold, assuming shelter is available."
Jos ajattelin, että keskustelu koirien vaatettamisesta on kiivasta, niin kyllä se käy aika kuumana myös hevoipuolella. Totuuden nimissä, on Jiilläkin kaulakappaleellinen toppa päällä, mutta ihan perus, 200g toppis. Tarhassa hyvät tuulensuojat ja laadukasta heinää koko ajan saatavilla. Siitä juomisesta vähän stressaan, lämmintä vettä yritän tarjoilla joka välissä. Hyvin se pärjää, minä se vähän hytisen.
